Romwe Fashion Review: Jackets, Plaid Skirts + Cold Shoulder Tops

I was super excited the other day when my latest Romwe package arrived in the mail! For this review, I've picked out five items for the autumn-winter season, including an asymmetrical plaid skirt, dragon embroidered oriental-style bomber jacket, light pink cold-shoulder sweater, rose embroidered denim jacket, and quilted tiger embroidered souvenir jacket. Find the full details after the jump!

First of the five items I got from Romwe as part of this mini fashion haul was an asymmetrical plaid skirt, sold in sizes S-L.

This skirt is made from a cotton-poly blend material, with a red-and-navy plaid design, side zipper closure, and asymmetric panel. It's fully lined and has a bit of stretch for a comfortable, figure-hugging fit, with a strap on the side that you can tie to tighten it a bit.

I got this skirt in size S, which is accurate to Romwe's measurements. I don't buy skirts like this often because they tend to be too long, but the length of this piece is perfect, and you can wear it higher or lower on your waist as needed.

The quality is amazing for the price; it's currently on sale for just $15, and it's really well-made. This skirt is perfect for the autumn with over-the-knee socks and black booties, or for the winter with leggings and tall boots. I'm obsessed with the cut and fit, and undoubtedly recommend this piece to anyone interested in a unique plaid skirt!

The second piece I picked out was a dragon embroidered longline bomber jacket, sold in sizes M-L.

This jacket is made of a smooth, lightweight polyester with a windbreaker-esque feel, with a netted inner lining that adds comfort and a bit of warmth. The material is very similar to that of the white manga-print jacket I got from Romwe in my past fashion review, making it a stylish, comfortable light jacket for spring and early autumn.

Atop the solid black construction, this jacket features a Chinese-style circular dragon embroidery at the center, giving it an oriental flair. It has two pockets at the front, long sleeves, and a slightly longline fit for streetwear-inspired vibes.

I got this jacket in size M, which is perfect for that oversized, baggy look. It's getting a bit too cold outside to wear thinner jackets like this one, but I'm still happy that I got it!

Next up is a light pink ribbed knit top with shoulder cutouts and a white striped design.

This cold-shoulder sweater is a one-size-fits-all piece, and the fabric has a lot of stretch to it. I typically wear size XS and found the body to be a bit looser than I'd prefer while the sleeves were a bit on the shorter side, but it looks super cute when tucked into a high-waisted skirt.

The material is quite comfortable and lightweight, though I wish the top was more form-fitting. I adore the open shoulder trend, and this piece puts a quirky spin on it with white colorblocked stripes along the neckline and square-shaped shoulder cutouts.

I'll admit that this piece is a bit overpriced compared to the quality, and the color is also a bit lighter and peachier than I anticipated. When styled well, though, it's a very cute top, with a sweet, feminine flair that reminds me of Taiwanese fashion.

The fourth piece I got was a light blue denim jacket with red rose embroidery, sold in sizes S-L.

This denim jacket features rose patches, long sleeves, and a buttoned front. I've seen many similar pieces sell for a few times the price of this, and the quality doesn't disappoint.

The jacket is pretty heavy and well-made, though it has a bit of a factory scent to it and needs to be aired out before being worn. I've been looking for a nice, casual denim jacket for a while and stumbled upon this piece, which stands out for the bold, bright rose embroidery.

With this piece, I wish I would've sized up more, because the sizing on the S is a bit awkward on me; it's boxier than a regular jacket, yet not quite big enough to give off the oversized look. I'm not particularly fond of the shape on me, but this jacket can be a great statement piece if you like the style! It's a step up from your regular denim outerwear, and pairs great with a simple T-shirt and your favorite pair of skinny jeans.

Last but not least is the priciest item from this Romwe haul: a tiger embroidered quilted souvenir jacket.

Of all the bomber jackets I've gotten, this is the best one for winter and late autumn. It's made of a thicker, quilted jacket and provides a good amount of warmth, with silky satin construction for a smooth and sleek feel.

The front of this jacket features a symmetric double tiger head embroidery, while the the back has a graphic typography design. Spinning off of the popular souvenir jacket trend, this piece has striped knit accents along the sleeve cuffs and hem, along with colorblocked sleeves with contrast trimming. The result is a piece that's both cute and cozy, sure to stand out from your average winter coat.

I got this jacket in size S and personally found the sleeves to be too short for my liking, though the rest of the jacket fits well. It has a slightly puffed, oversized shape to it and pairs wonderfully with skinny jeans and simple tops for a street-chic everyday look. Although it was the most expensive item of the many that I got, the quality easily compares to that of similar $80-150 jackets I've found at stores like Zara, Urban Outfitters, and Topshop. If only the sleeves were longer, it'd be perfect!

The overall quality and style of the five items that I got from Romwe was up-to-par with my past experiences with them, and if anything I'm getting happier with their clothes! I've definitely noticed that their modeled items tend to be better quality and more accurate to photos than their non-modeled ones, and they seem to be getting more unique products lately. Of all the items I got this time, I think the plaid skirt is my favorite, though the tiger souvenir jacket is a close second.

As always, thanks for reading! Find more details about Romwe products here.
