Twist X Turn is an up-and-coming London-based fashion brand with a style that plays on feminine, romantic silhouettes combined with sleek, monochromatic color schemes. Created in 2012, the brand currently sells its unique, high-street pieces at Topshop, with pieces that blend minimalist colors with edgy cuts and styles.

The clothes were packaged in a simple yet elegant way, true to the brand's style. In my package I received four tops, including a white high-low sleeveless top, white batwing top, white mesh-paneled ruffled top, and black collared blouse.

The first Twist X Turn piece that I was given to review was their Hi-Lo Woven Top in white.

This eye-catching piece features a dramatic ruffled swallowtail hem, matched with a loose, flowy silhouette and straps that tie together at the neckline. Constructed from a structured white fabric with a subtle semi-sheer grid design, this top elevates the trendy high-low silhouette for an elegantly bold look.

Whether you choose to wear the top as is or tuck it into a high-waisted skirt, the style is phenomenal and certain to attract attention. I absolutely love the dramatic high-low design, with a regular-length front and a nearly ankle-length back. The big, bold ruffles add an incredible flair to this, and the fabric helps it keep its shape.

This top goes great with everything from a simple pair of skinny jeans to a flared skater skirt, with a clean yet feminine style that showcases the character of the brand.

The second top I got was their Collar Check Batwing, one of Twist X Turn's iconic designs.

This top features a folded collar, buttoned front design, and elastic self-tie waistband, combined with the signature batwing silhouette. It's constructed from the same semi-sheer gridded fabric as the high-low top, with an all-white design for a clean, minimalist look.

With it's loose, comfortable fit, this top provides a mix of both style and comfort. It's a one-size-fits-all piece, with a subtle high-low hem for a tunic-like fit.

As with the first top, this piece is super versatile and can be paired with anything from tapered black ankle pants for an elegant evening look to a pastel skirt for a cute summer ensemble. Here, I paired it with a pleated light blue skirt (reviewed here) and a cropped blue moto jacket for a spring-summer look.

The third top that I got was the Twist X Turn Collar Mesh Check Ruffle, a ruffled collared top with sheer mesh paneling at the neckline, RRP £50.

This top combines several fabrics for a unique spliced look. For the collar and bodice, there's a simple white material that's comfortable and lightweight. At the neckline, there's a sheer mesh accent that shows off your collarbones and shoulders. Finally, at the shoulders, there are two layers of ruffled gridded fabric for an ultra-romantic style.

Off the four pieces that I received, this top is undoubtedly the most feminine of the bunch. The dramatic ruffled panels are boldly romantic, while the simple fold-over collar adds a chic vibe.

Here, I chose to dress up the romantic features of this top by pairing it with a flared semi-sheer floral skirt for a cute and girly look. Of course, the versatility of this piece, as with the other pieces from Twist X Turn, makes it something that can be styled in an endless amount of different ways!

The fourth and final top that I got the chance to review from Twist X Turn was their Pleated Collar and Cuff Blouse, RRP £49.

Constructed from a super soft and comfortable fabric, this blouse combines a simple black button-down style with Victorian-esque pleated accents at the collar and sleeve cuffs. It comes with a simple white necktie, which you can tie into a bow for an added touch of style.

The black-and-while styling of this top is one of the best examples of Twist X Turn's iconic monochromatic styling, and can certainly be worked into a ton of outfits. Personally, I've found that it works best with other monochromatic pieces, like the black grid skirt that I paired it with here (reviewed here).

The material of this top is lovely, but I did notice that there was a small hole in the seams of one of the sleeves. This was rather disappointing to find, considering that everything else about this top is so perfect! Overall another wonderfully-designed piece, but the stitching could be improved.

Overall

I had a great time trying out these bold designs by Twist X Turn, a brand that's truly like no other. Despite the minor flaw I noticed with the black-and-white top, Twist X Turn's pieces are quite well-made overall, and their styles are to die for! If you love monochrome, minimalist styles and romantic avant-garde fashion, Twist X Turn is definitely a brand to keep an eye on!
