Chomps Snack Sticks are a protein-packed, delicious and nutritious snack. They look a lot like Slim Jim's bars, but they're a lot better in terms of nutrients and health.

Unlike many popular beef snacks on the market, Chomps are made from 100% Non-GMO grass-fed Angus beef, sourced directly from New Zealand. These grass-fed beef sticks have absolutely no artificial ingredients such as nitrites, nitrates, artificial colors, MSG, or artificial flavors, making them a wonderful nutrient and protein-filled snack.

Chomps Snack Sticks are currently offered in three flavors: Original, Crankin' Cran, and Hoppin' Jalapeño. I was sent two of each to review, and all three flavors are quite tasty, with a good amount of flavor.

Unlike many beef jerky treats that I've tried, these aren't too salty. My favorite flavor would be the Hoppin' Jalapeño, which has a wonderful combination of saltiness, sweetness, and, of course, spiciness. You can definitely taste the jalapeño, but at the same time, it's not overwhelmingly spicy at all.

According to their site, Chomps Snack Sticks are gluten free and paleo friendly, making them the perfect treat for anyone, whether you're an athlete who spends your days working out and getting fit, or someone like me, who spends their days avoiding anything that has to do with exercise. Basically, they're a great, nutritious substitute for junk food, sweets, or additive-filled alternatives.

Chomps Snack Sticks really surprised me with their tasty yet healthy grass-fed beef snack sticks! These are actually much more flavorful and delicious than Slim Jim's in my opinion, and, to add to it all, they're super portable and easy to carry around, whether you want them as a post-workout snack or nutritious everyday alternative to sweets and junk food!
