Dresslink Fashion Review: Dresses, Cropped Shirt, Lace Bralette + Gloves

Hey everyone! Hope you all had an amazing Christmas! Today I've got a review of some more super-affordable items from Dresslink, including a white lace bralette, a cropped cherry print shirt, a strapless lace-trim skater dress, a striped cutout dress, and fur-trim knit fingerless gloves. Review ahead!

Merry Christmas! Today I'm reviewing a little gift from Dresslink, featuring a lace-trim strapless dress, cherry-print cropped shirt, striped cutout pleated dress, lace For Love and Lemons dupe bralette, and fur-trim gloves!

My last Dresslink review was posted back in September, so it's been quite some time, but today I'm back with five items, all under $7 each! Everything added up to about $23, not including shipping.

The first item that I got was a sheer white lace bralette, sold for just $3.90 in sizes S-XL.

This bralette is a dupe of the She's a Knockout bra by For Love and Lemons, one of my favorite unique, gorgeous brands that I can't afford :') The For Love and Lemons original was sold for around $100-125, but it's discontinued now, though you can shop for other lovely FLL designs at stores like Dollskill and Free People!

Dresslink's dupe costs less than $4, making it over thirty times cheaper than the FLL original bra. The affordability comes at a cost, though; as you can tell from the pictures, the actual product that I got from Dresslink looks very different from the FLL version, and doesn't exactly match Dresslink's product photos either.

This bralette is made of a very delicate, stretchy lace fabric, with adjustable thin straps, a scalloped edge, a back zipper closure, and partial white padding. The padded cups are too small and fit rather oddly, while the top itself (I got it in size S) fits too loosely for me.

This is definitely more of a style statement than a functional piece; it really doesn't provide any support, so I'd wear it with a regular white or nude bra underneath. It adds a cute touch when layered underneath a semi-sheer shirt or peeking out through a top with cutouts, but I really wish that it fit me better and had more structure to it.

Overall, I still think I can make use of this bralette, but it fell short of my expectations.

The second item that I got was a cropped cherry print shirt, sold for $5.90 in sizes S-XL.

Most of the stuff I've gotten from Dresslink doesn't come with tags, but this top actually did, which was a pleasant surprise. The top looks exactly as pictured on the site, with a navy blue fabric, fold-over collar, and cherry print.

The fabric has a crisp feeling to it, and the quality is pretty good for the price, though it's not the most comfortable top. It has a boxy, cropped fit, perfect for a cute and casual look.

This top looks great with jeans or shorts, and the print gives it a fun, fresh, spring vibe. There aren't any quality issues that I've noticed, and it's really not bad for a $6 top! I wish that the fabric wasn't so stiff, but otherwise I love it!

The third piece of clothing that I got from Dresslink was a strapless lace-trim skater dress, sold in pink or white, one-size-only, for $6.91.

This was the priciest item out of the five that I got, but it's still under $7. I picked the dress in "Red" according to Dresslink's description, but if you look at their pictures, you can see that it's actually much closer to a hot pink color.

The actual dress looks pretty much identical to Dresslink's photos, though the color is a bit more vibrant. The dress features a sleeveless form-fitting tube top bodice and flared skater skirt, along with a sexy lace print and tied-up ribbon design on the front. There's a hidden zipper at the back, and even though the dress is only sold in one size, it fits a variety of measurements due to the stretchy fabric.

This lace-trim dress is made of a somewhat crisp-feeling yet super-stretchy material. It's a bit stiff and wrinkles easily, and I would've preferred a soft cotton instead. The dress fits very well through the top, and it's the perfect length for me. If you're taller or you like longer dresses, though, this might be too short. The hem is actually a bit asymmetrical and dips down, but I actually like this, even though it might be a flaw, since it provides a little extra coverage in the back.

I love the sexy, dolly look of this strapless dress, and it can be dressed up as a clubbing/holiday/party dress or worn with a cute cardigan or kimono as a casual daytime dress. All in all, I'm super happy with the style, but I really wish the fabric was better.

I also got another dress from Dresslink: a striped cutout dress. This dress, costing $5.75, is offered in sizes S-XL.

As with the cropped shirt, I was surprised to find that this dress came with tags! The tags on this dress are actually much better than those on the shirt, and this striped dress is so much better in quality than the pink lace dress, even though it's cheaper!

This dress has an allover striped print, a V-accented top, hidden zipper, semi-pleated skirt, and waist cutouts. It's made of a thicker cotton/polyester fabric, so it's not see-through or flimsy like many chiffon dresses.

Sizing-wise, the dress fits wonderfully. The fabric has a tiny bit of stretch to it, but it's not very stretchy, so be sure to measure yourself carefully if you plan on ordering it. The straps tend to fall off my shoulders quite easily and the dress is super short, though, so keep that in mind. This is actually one of the few times where I'd wish that a dress was longer.

This striped cutout dress looks just like Dresslink's photos of the product, but not the model photos that Dresslink uses; the model is wearing a dress with a much deeper V-neck cut than the actual product. Overall, I really like the style, with the cute flared skirt, triangular waist cutouts, and figure-enhancing fit. The quality is absolutely superb for such a low price, and if it was an inch or two longer it'd be perfect!

The fifth and final item that I got was a pair of fur-trim knit fingerless gloves, sold for just $1.02 and offered in five colors: black, white, dark gray, khaki, and leopard.

I got these knit gloves/arm warmers in dark gray and they're 100% accurate to Dresslink's photos. The faux fur trim was flattened from delivery, but other than that, they're perfect!

These gloves are so affordable, and the thick knit fabric reminds me of stuff that my grandmother used to knit for me. The style reminds me of stuff I'd see in Japan or China, and these gloves are great for adding a touch of warmth and style to any autumn or winter outfit. For just about $1 per pair, they're definitely worth the price.

Overall

Aside from the white lace bralette, which was rather disappointing, everything else from Dresslink either met or exceeded my expectations. I'm especially happy with the striped dress and fur-trim gloves, which felt like incredible steals for the super-affordable price tags! Check out my other Dresslink reviews here, and happy holidays!
