A few weeks ago, I received an innovative skincare product from Farmacy: their New Day gentle exfoliating grains. This water-activated exfoliating cream is said to be an all-inclusive skincare treatment, with natural ingredients to clear, soothe, and protect skin.

In case you're unfamiliar with them, Farmacy is a skincare company that focuses on farm-grown, naturally-derived products. Their beauty and skincare products are currently sold on their website as well as in Sephora and on QVC. One of the company's greatest highlights is their patented Echinacea GreenEnvy ingredient, which contains plant antioxidants that help protect skin and promote evenly-toned complexions. Additionally, Farmacy is committed to delivering paraben-free, naturally-derived selections with no animal testing or artificial coloring.

I've previously tried out one of the hydrating coconut face masks from Farmacy, which you can read about here. I was very impressed with the mask, so I was quite excited to test out their New Day exfoliating grains as well!

The New Day gentle exfoliating grains are sold at Sephora, QVC, or on Farmacy's site, and a 3.5oz/100g bottle sells for $30. The main ingredients are white rice bran powder than absorbs excess oils, cranberry seeds that deeply clean and exfoliate skin, and a complex of white willow bark, carrot, green tea, and marshmallow to soothe skin.

To use the product, simply pour some of the grains into your hand, add water, and use as you would a regular cleanser. You can adjust the amount of water you add to change how strong or mild you want the exfoliator to be. Be sure not too add too much water, though, or it'll become too light and liquid-y to have much of an exfoliation effect.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the Farmacy New Day exfoliating grains. A 3.5oz bottle lasts pretty long, depending on how much you use. This product is perfect for cleansing skin, removing oils, and making skin feel soft, smooth, and replenished, though it's certainly not the strongest exfoliator out there.

The Farmacy New Day exfoliating grains are super innovative and easy to use, and after using this product, my skin feels soft and clean. Unlike a lot of exfoliators, this one is rather gentle, so you can use it pretty often.

Of course, if you're looking for intense exfoliating, this may not be the product for you. They're called gentle exfoliating grains for a reason; they're quite mild. Once you add a few drops of water, the small grains pretty much disappear, leaving mainly the cranberry seeds to serve as the exfoliating agent.

It doesn't irritate my skin at all, and it's quite fun to use!
