Before I jump right in to the review, here's a bit about the shop, Tea Apparel!

Tea Apparel is a relatively new online Tictail clothing shop, founded in July of 2015 and based in the USA. The store is pretty small right now as they're still getting started, and they sell handmade, affordably-priced tees with cute pocket designs. Plus, they've got this adorable logo!

I was sent two pocket tees to review, and I received the package in about a week!

The first T-shirt that I got was the Blue Hibiscus tee. This shirt is sold for just $12 in sizes S-M.

The Blue Hibiscus pocket tee from Tea Apparel features a cute floral printed pocket design on a simple, casual short-sleeve black T-shirt.

Tea Apparel's Blue Hibiscus T-shirt features a floral pocket on a simple black short-sleeve shirt. The pocket print reminds me of porcelain, with the intricate flower design and white-and-blue colors.

Quality-wise, this tee is so much better than I would've expected for a $12 top! The shirt itself is from Hanes, and it's super comfortable. It's made of a soft, 100% cotton fabric, and it's thicker than your average T-shirt. The color doesn't fade or transfer, and the pocket is securely attached.

Here, I paired this top with a choker (from Born Pretty Store, reviewed here) and a pleated white tennis skirt.

Honestly, I'm not usually a fan of casual styles, but this shirt is unbelievably comfortable and easy to wear. I got the shirt in small; it has a loose fit, but isn't too baggy or oversized.

The style and print looks exactly as pictured in Tea Apparel's product image, and it's a very versatile item. This is one of those shirts that is comfortable enough to be worn as loungewear, but stylish enough to be paired with skinny jeans, shorts, skirts, or anything else to create a cute-yet-casual outfit.

The second shirt that I got from Tea Apparel was their Japanese Village pocket tee. This shirt is also sold for $12 and offered in sizes S-M.

The Japanese Village pocket tee from Tea Apparel features a Chinese/Japanese landscape painting-style pocket on a simple black Hanes T-shirt.

The Japanese Village tee is similar to the Blue Hibiscus tee, but the pocket has a cream-colored background and blue design instead of a blue-and-white print. It's also made from a black Hanes shirt, with the same soft and high-quality cotton fabric.

As with the first tee, this pocket tee is very well made and comfortable. The Japanese Village design is reminiscent of Chinese and Japanese landscape paintings, but with a more modern, simplistic twist.

Here, I paired the shirt with denim shorts (first picture) for a casual look, and with a denim skirt (from Yumart, reviewed here) for a more girly look.

The actual tee looks accurate to the product photos, and the print is just as anticipated. This design is a bit harder to pair with outfits compared to the Blue Hibiscus tee, but the simple, casual style of the shirt keeps it versatile.

Overall, this is another cute shirt, a lot like the Blue Hibiscus tee, but still with its own style.

Overall

Tea Apparel's pocket tees surpassed my expectations for quality and style. For just $12 per shirt, they're really inexpensive, and wonderfully made. They've got a unique, unusual yet simple style, I hope that they get more prints and designs in the future. I highly recommend checking out the shop if you like these shirts; they may not have a big selection right now, but their items are definitely worth the price!
