Hey guys! Today I've got a review of four fall-friendly fashion items from SheIn, including a red asymmetric tie-front plaid dress, a striped boat neck sweater, a white crochet bodysuit, and a studded black suede skirt. Plus, read on until the very end for details about my upcoming SheIn giveaway!

The first item that I picked was a red asymmetric tie-front plaid dress, sold in sizes S-XL for $19.91.

I've seen this same dress on several different sites before, and finally decided to get it. It has a blue and red plaid print, fold-over collar, long sleeves, and ruffled asymmetric hem, paired with a matching belt and a single row of golden buttons.
The hem of the skirt is very different from the pictures; it's not a nice, even, pleated hem, but rather an asymmetric, wavy hem. The skirt design in SheIn's photos gives off a more polished, classy look, while the actual product has a more casual, grunge-y vibe. Although it's definitely a big difference, I like how the hem looks, and I think the unusual design gives it a more unique touch.
I'm rather disappointed with the quality of this dress. The fabric is very thin, and the material wrinkles easily. The dress also has a rather strong factory scent, though I'm sure it'd go away after a wash. One thing that really bothers me is that the ruched accent around the bust isn't symmetrical, and there are some loose threads as well.

Sizing-wise, the dress fits as described on SheIn's site. For those of you who may be interested in buying it, keep in mind that the length is very short at some parts because of the asymmetric hem, so if you're taller this may fit more like a top.
The waist is very lose, but the dress comes with a matching plaid fabric belt that adds a nice cinching effect. The sleeves are also a bit short and too wide, but they look nice when rolled up.
Even though this asymmetric plaid dress definitely isn't perfect in terms of quality and sizing, I can still see it being a go-to item in my wardrobe. I love the style, especially the hem (although it's completely different from the website photos), and the length is perfect on me. This dress looks great on its own, but you can layer it with leggings, cardigans, jackets, etc. for colder weather. I wouldn't say it's worth $20, but I'm happy with how it looks.

I also wanted to get a simple top for the fall/winter seasons, so I picked out a one-size-only striped boat neck sweater costing $16.14.

This long sleeve ribbed knit top features a fold-over boat neck collar and alternating wine red, navy, gold, and white stripes for a preppy look. It looks very small, but the fabric is very stretchy.
As you can see from the photos, there's a small part at the neckline where the stitching came apart. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse, but otherwise there are no quality issues with this item. The material is a good thickness, there are no loose threads, and the fabric feels pretty nice.

This striped knit top is a simple and easy-to-wear fall/winter fashion staple, and it fits just as I'd anticipated. The sleeves are quite long, which I love, and the top is pretty form-fitting, though it tends to bunch up rather often.
Aside from the small stitching issue, SheIn's striped boat neck sweater met all my expectations, and I could see it selling for this price or much higher at fashion retailers. It's a pretty flattering top, with a cute boat neck design, simple striped print, and preppy color scheme, and you can wear it with all sorts of skirts, shorts, or jeans!

Though I'm not a big fan of bodysuits, I couldn't resist trying out the sleeveless white crochet bodysuit from SheIn, originally sold in sizes S-L and currently costing $15.99.

This bodysuit features a mock-neck design with crochet detailing and scalloped cutouts. It's partially lined, with a zipper on the back. It's a style dupe of the Bloc lace bodysuit from Dolly Girl Fashion, which sells for $43.95, more than double the price.
In terms of quality, this crochet bodysuit met my expectations. It's well-made and the zipper works well. The crochet isn't super delicate or flimsy, and there weren't any loose threads.

This top is very easy to wear and not uncomfortable like some bodysuits are. It fits a bit loosely on me, but looks nice nonetheless. Style-wise, it looks pretty much exactly as pictured on SheIn's site, though the crochet pattern on the back is a bit off-center.
I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this when I chose it, but I ended up really liking it. It's super versatile and easy to wear, and it really goes well with all sorts of shorts, skirts, and pants. It's certainly worth the price of $16, and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes the style.

My fourth and final item this time was a studded black buttoned suede skirt, sold in sizes S-M for $16.82.

This skirt features square studs lining the front and a row of round silver buttons. It's made from a faux suede material, and it also comes in a khaki brown color. It's also pretty much a style dupe of the Ladyland suede skirt by Nastygal, which costs $150.
The skirt is pretty well made and looks exactly as pictured in SheIn's website photos. The material has a nice feel to it, and the quality is great for the price. My only complaint in terms of style is that, since the skirt has no zippers, you have to use the buttons, which is rather time-consuming and tedious for someone as lazy as me :')
Sizing-wise, the skirt fits as expected. A-line suede skirts have been super popular lately, and SheIn has quite a few different styles, though I think I'd like this skirt more if it had a bodycon fit and was an inch or two shorter.
In general, I think this skirt is a pretty good buy for the price, and it's a very unique, stylish, quality piece! I especially love that it has pockets — not the regular tiny pockets on women's jeans that you can barely fit anything in, but actually large and useful pockets, which is quite unusual for skirts and makes it functional as well as stylish.

I'm very pleased with almost all of the four items that I got in this time's SheIn order. The quality of the plaid dress was rather poor, and it looked very different from the photos, but all other three items surpassed my expectations. I'll also be hosting a big SheIn gift card giveaway very soon (so you can get a bunch of their lovely items for FREE!), so be on the lookout for it!
xoxo,
