{Fashion Review} WalkTrendy - Keyhole Cutout Skater Dress

Hey everyone~ Happy Memorial Day! Today I've got a review of a dress from WalkTrendy, an online apparel store that I recently created a wishlist for. I picked the black mock-neck skater dress with a keyhole cutout, a dupe of the Anna Dress by For Love & Lemons. Review ahead!

When I browsed through WalkTrendy's clothes, I found so many cute clothes, and I chose to test the quality of their items, picking a long sleeve mock-neck cutout skater dress.

My order was prepared within 2 business days and shipped out from Shanghai. Delivery took 10 days, which is fairly speedy and falls within WalkTrendy's estimated time frame of 5-15 working days.

The dress was packaged nicely and came with WalkTrendy tags, which I've found to be a rarity among most of the affordable online fashion stores (e.g. SheInside, Romwe, Dresslink, Milanoo) that I've reviewed. The tags were a simple addition, but it added a sense of quality to the product that gives WalkTrendy an edge above the others.

The Harajuku-style mock-neck skater dress from WalkTrendy comes with a keyhole cutout and custom WalkTrendy tags.
With a keyhole cutout, long sleeves, mock turtleneck, and fit-and-flare silhouette, the high neck dress from WalkTrendy is stylish and flattering.

Sizing
The long sleeve keyhole cutout dress is pretty true to the measurements provided by WalkTrendy. I got it in size XS, so it fits a bit snugly around the top and waist, but the fit-and-flare silhouette makes it very flattering. The sleeves are a nice length, although I wouldn't mind them being a little longer. The dress is short, but it's the perfect length for me; if you're taller, however, you might want to size up.

I was originally worried that the keyhole cutout would be too large and that I'd have to layer it over something else, but it turned out to be fine. The dress can be worn on its own, or with a bralette/bustier underneath for more coverage.

Quality
Simply put, the quality of this dress is amazing. The fabric runs on the thicker side, so it's not see-through or anything like that. The thickness of the material also gives it a slimming effect through the bust and waist area. It's a great dress for fall and winter, but maybe a little too thick for warmer weather.

The only issue I've found with this skater dress is that the back zipper gets caught at the very top. Otherwise, there are no loose threads, the material is form-fitting and comfortable, and the quality all-around is great!

With a flared, asymmetric hem, WalkTrendy's keyhole cutout mock-neck fit-and-flare dress is stylish and flattering.
For a cute, punk/goth/grunge-inspired style, pair a dark dress, like this long sleeve mock-neck keyhole-cutout WalkTrendy dress, with a cute necklace.
One of my favorite parts about the mock-neck keyhole cutout dress from WalkTrendy is the flattering fit-and-flare shape.

Style
As with most clothes, I chose this dress because I really like the style. This WalkTrendy dress is a dupe of the For Love & Lemons Anna Dress, which I've had on my wishlist ever since Hyuna wore the velvet version in the music video for Troublemaker's "Now" (ah yes, the awkward days when I was obsessed with kpop :']) The For Love & Lemons original retails for about $158, but WalkTrendy's dupe is just $26.99 with free worldwide shipping.

The dress looks exactly as pictured, and the style is every bit as wonderful as I'd hoped. It's a plain, solid black skater dress, but the mock turtleneck and large keyhole cutout add a sexy yet simple touch. I've found that the dress looks great with a necklace showing through the cutout; here, I'm wearing a necklace from TeaCupCastle, which you can read the review of here.

4minute's Hyuna wore the For Love & Lemons Anna Dress in the music video for Troublemaker's "Now," and WalkTrendy sells a dupe of the style for a much more affordable price.

Overall
The black long sleeve skater dress from WalkTrendy looks exactly as pictured, and for just $26.99, the quality is much better than I'd expect from similarly priced items in stores like H&M and Forever 21. The entire ordering, preparation, and delivery process went smoothly, and I'm very happy with this order. This dress is comfortable, slimming, and stylish; it's definitely a new favorite of mine!
